Restaurant Manager – Floriditas
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house team at Floriditas — an iconic Wellington institution known for warm hospitality, consistency, and a love of great New Zealand food and wine.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something special — to lead one of Wellington’s most loved dining rooms, make a genuine impact, and contribute to the ongoing legacy of Floriditas.
In this role you’ll oversee all FOH operations, lead and develop a dynamic team, and work closely with the kitchen and General Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences day and night.
What the role involves- Leading the FOH team across all services to ensure smooth, professional operation.
- Building, training, and supporting a strong FOH leadership group.
- Overseeing systems, standards, and daily communication between FOH and kitchen teams.
- Working directly with the General Manager on business performance, rostering, and cost management.
- Leading weekly huddles and one-on-one coaching to drive engagement and consistency.
- Developing best financial practice — learning how to interpret monthly P&Ls, manage prime costs, and understand the key drivers of a successful hospitality business.

- A current LCQ and Duty Manager’s Certificate (or the ability to renew quickly).
- Reliability, professionalism, and a drive to lead by example.
