2IC / Crew Leader Opportunity – Sheep Contracting (Kurow base or Canterbury)
We are a large, well-established sheep contracting business covering tailing, crutching, conveyor, and dipping. We’re looking for an experienced and motivated person to join our Canterbury-based team.
This is not just another job – it’s a role with career growth potential. For the right person, this position is a 2IC role, an potential to leading your own crew and stepping into management.
What’s on Offer:
$70–95K+ per year (based on experience)
5 days a week, with every second weekend off during the tailing season
Work variety:
Crutching trailer (6–8 months)
Tailing crew (3 months)
Conveyor & dipping alongside other work
Supportive, hardworking crew with a strong reputation for quality service
Current base: Kurow or Temueka
What We’re Looking For: Crutching experience
Strong stock-handling or sheep contracting experienceA motivated team player who can step up when needed
Someone who takes pride in doing a job well
Good Organization and communication skills
Full, clean driver’s license is essential
