We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Mobile Service Hose Technician to service the Tauranga/Bay of Plenty region.

About the Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining field service and workshop work. You’ll be the face of the business with customers, responding to breakdowns, fabricating hoses and providing practical hydraulic solutions.No two days are the same.
Key responsibilities:- Respond promptly to customer breakdowns and service requests.
- Manufacture and fit hydraulic hoses on-site and in the workshop.
- Diagnose faults and provide safe, practical repair solutions.
- Deliver professional, friendly customer service.
- Maintain your service vehicle, tools and stock levels.
- Follow all health & safety procedures.
- Participate in a rotating on-call roster.
You’ll receive training on products, systems and safety standards, setting you up for long-term success.
About You
You’re mechanically minded, reliable and enjoy problem-solving in the field. You take pride in your work, communicate well with customers and can manage your day independently.
Ideally you’ll bring:- Full NZ driver’s licence.
- Mechanical or engineering background (hydraulics experience an advantage).
- Strong problem-solving ability and customer focus.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand (overseas applicants not accepted).
Experience with manual lathes, hydraulic component rebuilds or cylinder repairs is a bonus but not essential. Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn matter most.
