Night ‘n Day Foodstores have been operating across the country for over 30 years. We are 100% New Zealand owned and operated and have 50+ stores located from Invercargill to Whangarei. The Support Centre is based in Dunedin which is the home town of the first Night ‘n Day store in Regent Road.

About youAs Store Manager, you will be an individual that is hands-on, enjoys a fast-paced environment and is a strong leader for your team.
You will also have- Previous management experience working in a cafe, restaurant, food service business, or a fast-paced retail environment.
- Experienced in operating POS and security system
- An understanding of the employment, health & safety and other legal requirements of running a business
- Knowledge of products and suppliers to the FMCG industry
- The ability to motivate and lead a team
- Experience in adhering to budgets to ensure the running of a profitable business
- Timely reporting and record keeping
- Experience with numbers including understanding of mark ups, gross profits, net profits etc.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the store's operations, including but not limited to:
- Ensure customers receive the best service and great quality products.
- Manage customer-related issues promptly.
- Train, retain and manage all staffing matters.
- Maintain food safety and store presentation standards.
- Stock control, restocking and checking off products
- Regular stocktaking to ensure stock accuracy
- Assist with loss prevention
