Retail Sales Assistant

We are happy to make the position work for the right candidate, and whilst working one weekend day is a must, we will also consider applicants looking for more casual work, including 3-4 days per week, or late starts / early finishes at off peak times.

• Help customers with product selection, advice, and basic demonstrations
• Unpack deliveries, restock shelves, and maintain tidy displays
• Process workshop bookings and customer orders
• Answer phone and email enquiries
• Keep the store clean, organised, and professionally presented
• Support the Retail Manager with general store operations
• Work independently on occasional solo days (during off-peak season)

• Friendly, helpful attitude and good communication skills
• Physically fit – able to lift boxes and be on your feet throughout the day
• Basic admin and computer confidence
• Able to work a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday roster (or possibly 3-4 days including a weekend day)
• Willingness to learn about outdoor power equipment (full training provided)

• Retail or trade sales experience
• Familiarity with outdoor power tools (e.g. STIHL gear)
