Class 5 Log Truck & Off Highway Stem Drivers
Self Loader Logging Limited is a log transport business that has been established in Taupo for over 35 years. We are continuously upgrading our fleet of logging trucks that work throughout the central North Island. Our vehicle brands include Volvo, Scania, Kenworth, Mack, International & Western Star.
We are currently seeking fulltime, Class 5 Log Truck Drivers & an Off-highway Stem Driver. Log truck experience is preferred however full training will be considered for a suitable applicant.
We are seeking applicants with the following attributes:- hold a current Class 5 Drivers Licence.
- currently living in the Taupo / Rotorua / Murapara areas.
- have compliance of Health & Safety work practices.
- can operate (or willing to learn) a manual roadranger transmission
- Can operate our log trucks efficiently.
- reliable
- an early starter.
- have pride in your own presentation and the presentation of your allocated truck.
- must speak English confidently - clear verbal communication with dispatch and loader drivers throughout each day is vital to this role.
- drug & alcohol free.
