About the Role
As an Inpatient Receptionist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality reception and administrative support within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be methodical, highly organised, flexible, and committed to being a supportive member of the team.Strong customer service skills are essential.
In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include welcoming patients and visitors, answering incoming calls and responding to enquiries, and liaising closely with the medical team. You will be responsible for accurately capturing patient flow data, assisting patients with completing required forms and documentation, and maintaining a clean, calm, and welcoming reception area at all times.

About the Team/Service
The Inpatient Receptionist plays a vital role in front desk operations within the wards, responsible for greeting patients and visitors, as well as coordinating patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. This role includes maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring the reception area operates smoothly and efficiently.By providing essential administrative support to healthcare staff, the Inpatient Receptionist contributes to our commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care for patients and their whanau.
