Ongoing training and professional development opportunitiesHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleThe Specialty Clinical Nurse is responsible for the provision of speciality clinical expertise for a specific patient/turoro/tangata whai ora cohort to enhance health outcomes by working directly to provide assessment, care and education.This role will provide specialist care to Northlands HIV positive patients, ensuring that the delivery of care contributes to a better patient experience and health outcomes.

You will deliver clinical interventions, coordinate contact tracing, and lead efforts in prevention and health promotion, ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care that contributes to lowering new local infections.Click here to view the position description.This role is based at the main Whangarei Sexual Health Clinic; however, it will involve travel to clinics and outreach services across the region.About the Team/Service/LocationWe are a small team with a strong sense of purpose, offering an inclusive and collaborative working environment.

You will bring a proactive, flexible approach and confidently adapt to changing priorities in a supportive, patient-centred environment.
