We need a reliable, customer-focused individual to join our Timber Yard Team. If you enjoy dealing with timber and timber products, hands-on work, and giving great customer service — this could be the perfect role for you
This is a full-time, permanent position working Sunday-Thursday
About the Role
A challenging but rewarding role, you will be working with the Trade and Dispatch teams. The role involves physical work, both indoors and outdoors, so being comfortable handling stock of various sizes is important
Your primary focus will be assisting our Trade and DIY customers with helpful advice, making sure that they have everything they need to complete their projects
In return, you will enjoy variety, job satisfaction and being part of a supportive and down-to-earth team
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a good level of physical fitness for lifting, carrying, loading
- Enjoys providing friendly, professional customer service
- Communicates clearly
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Has a full, clean driver licence with F endorsement or forklift experience will be advantageous.However, if you have a full licence and a willingness to learn we will happily support you through forklift licence training
You will be able to bring a drive and energy to getting the job done right. Previous customer service experience and/or building and timber knowledge would be an advantage but a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are what matter most
