4 Rivers Farming is 8800ha muti-farm business operating in the greater Dunedin area. We farm cross breed sheep and angus cattle, wintering up to 40,000su.
Due to one of our team moving on to their next challenge, we require an experienced shepherd to join us on our 3 adjoining properties based at Waikouaiti. River Farm, Kiatoa and the Blucher cover 8100ha of hill country, and run predominantly breeding stock made up of 14,000 Romney ewes, 1100 Angus cows plus replacements.
You would be joining a tight knit team of 6 and while the role will mainly be stock work, at times you will turn your hand to general farm duties.
