House Keeping Superstar
This role aims for a minimum of 30 hours per week across 5 days, with the opportunity to work up to 45 hours, depending on workload and availability. Opportunities exist for part-time work (weekends only).
The position offers a flexible 7-day roster, ensuring shifts can accommodate various schedules.Weekend work is an essential part of this role. Shifts start at 9:45am and typically finish at 4-6pm.
This role pays $28 - $30 per hour, depending on experience and skill.Previous cleaning experience in a hotel or short term rentals is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
As a Cleaner, your primary responsibilities will include general cleaning tasks at our properties. You will be expected to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, manage cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any maintenance or safety issues to the management team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities include:- Cleaning domestic and commercial properties to a high standard.
- Handling linen and stock in the warehouse.
- Lifting, carrying, and rearranging furniture and household items.
- Conducting quality control and stock take, including pre-arrival and departure checks of units.
- Performing deep cleaning tasks.
- Using digital systems (on phones) to record tasks and access property notes.
- Following and completing all checklists/tasks efficiently.
- Being punctual and flexible to work around a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Valid drivers licence (transport to the cleaning site is provided) and at least 2 months left on your visa
- Experience cleaning hotel rooms or short term rentals
- A positive nature with a can do attitude
- Already Queenstown based
