**The Role:** Are you a skilled welder/fabricator with a proven track record in trailer construction and leading high-performing teams? We're looking for a hands-on Team Leader to join our fast-paced workshop and help drive quality, efficiency, and team development.
**What You'll Do:**Lead and mentor a team of welders and fabricators in the production of trailers and custom-builds.
Read and interpret technical drawings and ensure projects are completed to spec.
Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and productivity across the workshop.
Coordinate daily workloads, allocate tasks, and oversee job timelines.
Assist in hands-on welding/fabrication when needed (this is not a desk job!).
Provide training, support, and feedback to new and existing team members.
**What We're Looking For:**Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication, particularly in trailer manufacturing or heavy vehicle builds.
Strong leadership or supervisory experience in a fabrication or workshop setting.
Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and use of fabrication tools and machinery.
Ability to manage a team under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.
A proactive attitude, great communication skills, and a strong safety mindset.
**Desirable (but not essential):**Relevant trade qualifications or certifications.
Experience leading a team in an engineering environment.
