Customer Service Representative
Do you have sales and administration experience and enjoy engaging with customers? We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our Timber Sales team. You will need to be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will provide support to the Sales and Despatch team to ensure a high level of customer service for our customers.
Tumu Timbers Ltd is a progressive, locally owned Hawkes Bay timber processing business. Our team culture is positive and enthusiastic with an emphasis on H&S, quality, and customer service.
You will be responsible for:- Receiving and processing customer orders
- Working with our internal dispatch team to achieve customer expectations
- Provide sales support to Account Managers
- Preparing sales and despatch documentation
- Maintaining client accounts and relationships by phone and email.
- Despatch and/or trade sales experience
- Relevant timber or similar manufacturing industry experience (preferred)
- Proven customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills and phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of administrative duties.
- Computer literacy; specifically, with Microsoft Excel
- Experience using "TimberSmart" software systems (a bonus)
