Civil Labourer/WTR
The Role
We need Labourers, Traffic Controllers, Drivers, and Operators to join a busy civil construction team working across the Manawatu and Rangitikei regions. You'll handle a mix of labouring, machine operation, and site setup.

Key Responsibilities- Operate WTR machinery (especially a 12T roller) with confidence and accuracy
- Support Foreman with daily civil site set-ups, pack-downs, and on-site operations
- Provide physical labour: digging, lifting, wheelbarrowing, and using hand tools
- Assist machine operators with spotting and ground support
- Traffic control duties if you hold the appropriate tickets
- Drive or operate machinery depending on your license and experience
- Local civil work - no long stints away from home
- Weekly pay + full PPE provided

- Monday to Friday, generally starting from 6.00-6.30am
- 8-10 hour days, with flexibility depending on weather and project demands
- Occasional Saturday half days during busy periods
- Located in or ability to travel to Marton
- Physically fit and willing to get stuck into hands-on work
- Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check and drug test
- Essential: Full Class 1 licence
- Highly desirable: Traffic Control tickets, WTR endorsement, Class 2-5 licences, and experience on rollers, diggers, or other heavy machinery
