Chilled and Frozen Assistants and Grocery Assistants – Part-Time Positions Available
We are looking for reliable and responsible team member that can work efficiently with excellent customer services skills who are keen to join our team as a Chilled and Frozen Assistant or a Grocery Assistant.
You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality products and excellent service we offer our customers here at New World Mosgiel.
Position 1 – Chilled and Frozen Assistant- Friday 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Sunday 8:00am – 5:30pm
- 18 hours per week total
- Monday 5:00am – 9:30am
- Sunday 12:00pm – 8:30pm
- 12.5 hours per week total
- Friday 5:00am – 2:30pm
- Saturday 7:00am – 3:30pm
- 17 hours per week total
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting with customer enquiries
- Shelf filling
- Ensuring shelves and displays meet required presentation standards
- Date checking and stock rotation
- Assist with all other duties that form part of the Chilled and Frozen and Grocery departments
- Cleaning
- Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times
- Be customer driven
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Passion for customer service
- High presentation standards and good attention to detail
- Be reliable
- Have a good work ethic
- Enjoy being busy and able to work well under pressure
- Be able to work at least one weekend day
- Flexibility to work extra shifts when required
- Work well in a team environment
- Physically fit as there is repetitive heavy lifting involved

Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary as full training will be given for the right candidates.
