This is where you come into the picture.We have an opportunity for an experienced Vineyard Machinery Operator to join our small team working on the Grove Mill Vineyards around Blenheim. This is a full-time role guaranteed 40 hours per week, for the right person we will consider flexible work hours.
In this role you will report to the Wairau Vineyard Manager. Work will include all machinery operations, spraying, irrigation R&M and some general vineyard duties as required. You may be required to work extended hours depending on the season.
The successful applicant will: o Have a practical experience from a viticulture or agricultural background.
o Be able to operate and maintain tractors and implements.o Have great attention to detail and pride in their work.
o Must have a great attitude and be a team player.
o Be able to work unsupervised.
o Have excellent communication skills.
o A valid New Zealand drivers Licence.
o A Growsafe Certificate would be advantageous.
What do we provide?A competitive hourly rate will be offered to the successful candidate and a yearly wine allowance with training and development opportunities.
This is a permanent position and not suitable for Working Holiday Visa holders. All applicants must be able to work in New Zealand without needing sponsorship.
The Company has a Drug and Alcohol Policy, and employment will be subject to the successful completion of a Pre-Employment Drug Test.
