Hillyers has a full time position available in our amazing pie production team!
This position involves everything to do with making our famous handmade pies. Making pastry, cooking meats, prepping food ingredients, filling pies, running the ovens, maintaining bakery equipment, cleaning duties.
This is a fulltime role. Monday to Friday and occasionally a weekend day, 4am start.
What we need from you- Able to read English
- A little simple addition
- Work quickly and accurately
- Reliability and dedication to your fellow team members
- Ability to learn new skills
- Time management skills
- An eye for detail
- Some pastry sheeter and dough mixer experience would be an advantage
- Keep yourself fit and healthy
- Have a positive and energetic attitude
- Lots of laughing (this is essential)
- Everything involved in making our pies (we'll teach you)
- Some heavy lifting
- Following our recipes and processes (we'll teach you).
- Putting stock away (just like the groceries at home)
- An old school work ethic (we can't help you with this, you'll need to bring your own)
