Customer service Representative
Pressure Solutions is a company located at 56 Diana Drive, Wairau valley. We repair, maintain, service and sell high pressure water equipment across all industries. We offer spare parts and new equipment that covers a variety of applications.
We are hiring a customer service representative to manage customer queries, which will occur via email, phone and walk in customers as we have a showroom. You will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels.To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated or not sure what they are wanting and have experience with working in a team and computers/software systems.
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
- Communicating with customers through various channels.
- Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
- Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
- Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Assist sales representatives on the road with ensuring the customer is looked after
To Succeed in the role:
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Comfortable using computers and software systems.
- Experience working with customer support.
- The willingness to learn and develop your skill set.
- A technical background will assist with understanding our products and offerings but not essential as long as you have a good attitude towards learning something new.
- Ability to retain and recall important information.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Confidence on the phone.
Not required but would be important skills to have:
- An understanding of electric components & motors will prove to be helpful
- Small engines and how they work, being mechanically minded as a lot of what we do is related to small petrol engines, but also ranges into dealing with large diesel engines
- Experience with stock and warehousing as you may be asked to assist in this area of the business
- Hydraulic systems and how they work, High pressure systems work in a similar way to what hydraulics does, so this understanding is very transferable
- The ability to read documents / manuals and exploded view diagrams to assist customers with spare parts, repairing or servicing of a product we have sold.

- Hours: Monday to Friday
