About the RoleThe Regional Cancer Treatment Service (RCTS) provides non-surgical cancer treatment across the central North Island, serving a population of 580,000 across MidCentral, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Whanganui, and Wairarapa Districts.

While radiation treatments have traditionally been delivered in Palmerston North, we're expanding our reach with new outreach sites in Taranaki and Hawkes Bay—bringing care closer to home for our patients.RCTS is home to New Zealand's newest linac fleet (TrueBeam) and a state-of-the-art planning system (RayStation).
