The role covers a broad range of corporate services and operational tasks that help keep our services running smoothly.
As a permanent, full
-time Senior Support Officer, you'll work closely with the Business Support Manager to deliver high-quality operational support across the Canterbury region—helping teams stay connected, responsive, and focused on delivering great outcomes for ākonga.
Key responsibilities include: Providing reception and frontline customer support Coordinating fleet vehicles and supporting fleet administration Managing events, meetings, and logistics Facilty management Overseeing shared phone lines and shared mailboxes Processing staff travel Administering portfolio applications and maintaining accurate records Completing data entry and data validation Funding and financial prcessing and database management Supporting general operational and administrative workflows Salary range: $60,879- $72,999 per annum + 3% kiwi saver.
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

You will have a strong customer service ethic, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and processes in a busy and dynamic setting.
You will also offer: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling information Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Proven ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with a wide range of people The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
