Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time, experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our growing team. This role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and equipment across industrial, commercial, and domestic settings.

• Set up installation plan based on technical drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Assemble and install air conditioning systems and components.
• Drill holes, install mounting brackets and cutting, bend and thread piping.
• Conduct routine servicing and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HVAC equipment.
• Test systems for functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure all work meets health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• A relevant level 4 qualification or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in varied environments.

• $30-$40 per hour depending on experience.

The employee will work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and must be available to work on weekends when required. Candidates must be New Zealand citizens or residents.
