**About the role and who we are looking for:**

We have an exciting **Permanent Full-time** position as **Cafe/ Retail Supervisor** for our Cafe the Plateau at Waiouru Military Camp.

• Coaching, training, development, and monitoring the wellbeing of staff
• Combining leadership strengths with expertise in hospitality and customer experience
• Operating cash register
• Barista skills
• Food preparation skills
• Maintaining a clean and tidy front and back of house
• Preparing reports for management
• Monitoring financial activities against budget
• Conducting accurate and timely monthly stock take

• You will have some experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment
• You will have some experience in managing staff and running a roster
• You will need to have knowledge and experience in managing the cost of goods and/or food within the café
• You will need to be able to communicate effectively in the workplace
• You will need to be able to ensure that personal hygiene and presentation standards are maintained
