About the Role
This role plays a vital part in providing administration support to the Emergency Department leadership team, Key functions include general administration duties and also include communicating across internal and community stakeholders, scheduling meetings and taking minutes, and general administrative duties.Applicants must be computer competent and be able to navigate systems such as TEAMS and SharePoint.

Te Ara Tiaki Pakeke, Healthy Ageing service has been established to work in collaboration with older people, their whanau, health stakeholders, and the wider community to enable older people to get access to health services and supports which enable them to 'live well, age well and have a respectful end of life in age-friendly communities'.This administration role is focused on our contractual obligations to our ACC contracts for the Fracture Liaison and Community Strength and Balance services as part of a wider administration team.

About you

Minimum of one year of experience in an administration role with hospital based experience preferred
Proven knowledge of all Windows-based applications (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
Proven organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritise appropriately
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
A positive attitude to go the extra mile to assist others
Competency with Te Ao Maori, Tikanga, and Te Reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings

Ability to navigate and welcome change as the service continues to grow and develop
Ability to engage with different team members, patients and whanau
High trust and reliability
Knowledge of ACC would be an advantage but not required as training will be provided
