We have a vacancy for an energetic person who loves gardening to join our small friendly team working in our Pukekohe/Franklin based garden maintenance business where everyday is different. We look after a variety of gardens including large rural gardens, small town courtyards plus commercial properties.
Position: Gardener – Permanent/CasualDays: 2 days per week
Location: Pukekohe/Franklin

About the Role
As a gardener with our team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects from large rural gardens to charming town courtyards and commercial properties. Every day is different, and we are looking for someone who is reliable, hard-working and can handle all aspect of garden care.The role is physically demanding so we are looking for someone fit and strong.

- Skills & Experience:
Weed identification & management
Digging & heavy lifting
Intermediate pruning skills
Strong plant knowledge (bonus!)
Punctuality & reliability
Keen eye for detail
- What You’ll Be Doing:
Hedge trimming and pruning
Heavy lifting and general maintenance

- The days available are subject to weather and demand

- The position is Casual.
- Hours /Days may vary due to demand and weather. (weekdays only)
- Usually 7 hours per day.
- 7.30am Start
- Must have own transport.
- Working in Franklin area at various locations
- We are a smokefree workplace
- A police check will be required
- You will need to be a current NZ resident.
