About the Role

As Charge Nurse for PACU you will:

Work at Level 9 Operating Theatres that provide acute and elective obstetrics and gynaecology perioperative services 24/7.
Be a master in relationship building and liaising with a multi-disciplinary team.
Be a part of a high performing, tight knit and supportive team having a common passion for delivering a high-quality safe and sustainable care to our wahine and pepes.

Work closely with the Womens Health Service and liaising with other multi-disciplinary team to ensure a seamless and high standard of quality patient care.

This is an exciting full time leadership role, (1.0 FTE) working Monday to Friday within our PACU.

About You

We are looking for an experienced PACU nurse, RNAA, preferably specialised in Womens Health with:

A minimum of five years operating room experience
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills, teamwork and resilience.

Someone who enjoys organising staff and resources while achieving service goals.

You will be part of and working in collaboration with senior leadership team for the day-to-day co-ordination of elective and acute patient management flow.
