We are looking for an energetic and motivated team leader for our residential services in Masterton. You will lead a team supporting our clients to live as independently as possible while providing a safe, encouraging environment where they can build confidence, friendships, and community connections.

This role includes a mix of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts throughout the week, so flexibility is key to supporting your team effectively.

What does the role involve - He aha te mahi a te mahi

As a team leader, you will support people with disabilities to live as independently as possible while leading and motivating your team to deliver quality care and support.

Your day could include:

  • Supporting people with meaningful activities at home and in the community, promoting independence and whanau involvement
  • Helping with household duties such as meal preparation, daily routines, and personal cares
  • Working closely with your team to deliver individual support plans effectively, using positive communication and teamwork
  • Creating a warm, inclusive, and nurturing home environment that encourages feedback and supports each person to achieve their personal goals

What we're looking for - He aha ta tatou e rapu ana
  • Leadership experience or a strong desire to develop leadership skills
  • Level 4 certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent qualifiation
  • Ability to adapt your leadership style to support individual learning needs
  • A warm, calm, and friendly personality with a passion for helping people achieve positive outcomes
  • A full NZ driver's licence and confidence driving disability vans safely
