The Company:

Our client has been Northland's trusted tyre specialist for over 30 years, known for delivering on its promise of 100% Service - anywhere, anytime. We are looking for a skilled Tyre Technician to join the team, working across both retail and commercial fleet services.

Key Responsibilities: Support our customers with a wide range of tyre services - from cars to heavy vehicles.

As a Tyre Technician, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Fitting, repairing, and balancing tyres across passenger, motorcycle, truck, tractor, OTR, and other vehicles.
  • Performing wheel alignments on customer vehicles.
  • Completing puncture repairs and tube fitments to the highest standard.
  • Attending fleet service callouts, including occasional afterhours and weekend work.
  • Delivering excellent customer service, ensuring customer needs are met every time.
  • Engaging in ongoing training and supporting the wider team as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 year of relevant work experience.
  • Strong technical ability in tyre fitting, repairs, balancing, and alignments.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to customer service.
  • Flexibility to work afterhours or weekends for fleet service callouts.
  • Full driver's licence.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Must have a clean police record with no charges pending.
