Farm Machine Operator / Truck Driver

Do you enjoy working outdoors and being in a farm environment?

We are a mixed farming operation (potatoes, onions and livestock) that is looking for someone to join the team on our family farm based between Foxton and Shannon. The role involves a wide range of activities as part of the farm operation.

• Operating a range of machinery, including tractors and attachments
• Operating a forklift for inwards and outwards goods
• Driving a truck and trailer (support with licensing can be provided for the right person)
• Maintain accurate records of machinery use and field activities
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment

• Experience operating agricultural machinery
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of farm equipment
• Class 4 and 5 license
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The job will involve a minimum of 40 hours per week, with extended hours during peak seasons.
