Hussey Paint & Panel is a busy and well-established panel and paint shop, that’s looking for a proactive, organised, and customer focused Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing- Welcoming customers and managing a high-volume reception area with professionalism and warmth
- Handling customer bookings, scheduling repairs, and providing regular updates throughout the repair process
- Liaising with insurance companies to process claims, submit documentation, and ensure clear communication
- Managing courtesy car bookings, returns, condition checks, and maintaining accurate records
- Completing a range of administrative duties including invoicing, data entry, job card preparation, and filing
- Coordinating out work with subcontractors and tracking job progress
- Monitoring and maintaining workplace health and safety requirements, reporting hazards, and supporting compliance
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Confidence working with insurance companies and handling documentation
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Experience in automotive, panel & paint, or insurance industries is an advantage but not essential
- A positive attitude and willingness to be a key part of a busy team
