Pay Range: $27 – $31 per hour (depending on experience)
Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (typical roster 35–40 hours)

Days of Work: Rostered shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

About Eddyline Pizzeria:

We are a busy, locally owned restaurant known for our Wood-Fired Pizzas, Craft Beer, and relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. We focus on quality food, great service, and a positive, team-oriented workplace.

We’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our leadership team and take an active role in the day-to-day running of the restaurant. This role suits someone who enjoys a hands-on approach, leading by example, and helping a great team deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and oversee daily restaurant operations during service.

Supervise, support and motivate front-of-house team members.

Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring all guests have a positive experience.

Manage table allocations, reservations, and communication with kitchen staff.

Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally and promptly.

Open and close the venue, including cash handling and daily financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, food safety and health & safety regulations.

Assist with staff training, stock control, and ordering as needed.

Uphold cleanliness, organisation, and general presentation standards across the restaurant.

Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

At least one year of relevant experience in a restaurant or hospitality management or supervisory role.

A valid Manager’s Certificate (under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012), or the ability to obtain one.

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a busy service environment.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, food service and customer engagement.

Desirable:

Previous experience in a full-service restaurant or similar setting.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems and email communication.
