Hourly Rate: $25.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on your qualification and work experience

Job Description: The Nest Chinese Takeaways is seeking a talented and experienced Chinese/Asian Cuisine cook to join our dynamic team.

• Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese and Asian fast food dishes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Proficiently operate a wok to stir-fry ingredients at high heat, maintaining authentic flavors.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines to produce meals efficiently.
• Assist in menu planning, incorporating seasonal and fresh ingredients when required.
• Set up and stock cooking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Monitor and manage stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Ensure timely restocking to prevent shortages during service.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders.
• Communicate effectively to ensure all meals meet customer expectations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment, especially the wok station.

• Proven at least one year experience as a Cook specializing in Chinese/Asian fast food, particularly with wok cooking.
• Strong understanding of Asian cooking techniques, flavors, and ingredients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
