In A Nutshell

The Automotive Colour Mixer is responsible for selecting the correct colour variant and tinting for refinishing of vehicles to the highest quality standard as set out by AMI MotorHub.

This is achieved by the timely planning and co-ordination of processes and activities with the Production Manager and Repair Technicians.

• Colour match the vehicles
• Select the correct variant and quantity required for each job
• Mix primer, base paint, and clear coat water borne paint
• Check viscosity while mixing paint and reducer
• Professionally preparation of tinting for vehicles
• Complete quality checklist and signoff tinting tasks with a focus on ensuring no rework
• Inspect vehicles for faults and imperfections, reporting any faults to the Production Manager
• Order stock and maintaining stock levels
• Attend toolbox meetings daily
• Ensure that required documentation is complete and compliant before handover
• Follow all safety and security procedures

• An interest in painting and refinishing (training will be provided)
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to use IT
