You will be joining our multi-disciplinary teamworking in a clinic environment. The salary band for this role is $72,000 to $76,000.We are looking for someone to provideadministration support for our Gynaecology and Colposcopy OutpatientService.
In this role you will provide clerical support to assistwith the effective running for the service (data collecting, quality/riskmanagement, auditing and reporting) and answering patient enquiries, aswell as booking outpatient appointments.You will also be working in ourFracture Clinic in the reception area answering patient enquiries as well asbooking outpatient appointments and scheduling waiting lists.
About the Team/Service/ Location Outpatients covervarious specialities including; Gynaecology, Surgical, Medical, Pre-assessment,ENT, Eyes and Orthopaedics. We have a happy supportive team who work together toachieve the best outcomes for our people and their families.
We have someexciting times ahead of us in Gynaecology Outpatients, with new initiatives inWomen's Health; including cervical screening and the colposcopy service.About you As an excellent communicator, you will have a positive,enthusiastic, innovative and proactive approach that exudes confidence.
Youwill be team focused and have an adaptable approach to your work.You will show sensitivity in differentsituations as you will be dealing with a wide range of people including membersof the public and hospital staff. You will need to have an understanding of thePrivacy Act.
In order to be successful in this role, youwill ideally have:Knowledge and experience in anadministration role - preferably in the health sector.An ability to prioritise workload andmanage multiple priorities.Competence in using computers includingExcel and Word.An ability to quickly learn new webbased clinical applications as required for the role.A passion for working in Women's Healthand Gynaecology.Excellent time management skills.Excellent communication skills.Experience in working with amulti-disciplinary team.A sensitive approach to individualisingcare.Excellent cultural awareness and safety.
