Multi Media Systems Ltd is a leading event production and venue solutions company, delivering high-quality audio-visual, staging, lighting, and technical services for corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, and special functions.We are seeking a results-driven Event Sales /Coordinator for audio-visual production in a central Auckland based venue who thrives on building client relationships, providing solutions, and coordinating seamlessly between clients, venues, suppliers, and internal production teams.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales with responsibility, not just taking enquiries. You will actively drive event sales while managing end-to-end coordination to ensure every event is delivered smoothly and profitably.You will be the central link between clients, venues, suppliers, and technical teams, turning client requirements into well-executed events.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Actively respond to and follow up on event and venue enquiries
- Promote and sell AV solutions, event services, and venue packages
- Prepare tailored quotes, proposals, and costings
- Build strong, long-term client and venue relationships
- Upsell additional services and identify new business opportunities
- Coordinate between clients, venues, suppliers, and internal teams
- Manage event timelines, schedules, and logistics
- Conduct site visits and client meetings
- Translate client briefs into clear technical and operational plans
- Ensure all parties are aligned leading up to and during the event
- Attend events as required to ensure smooth delivery
- Proven experience in event sales, venue sales, event coordination/production, or hospitality sales
- Interest in technology or willingness to learn the industry
- Strong communication
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities
- Confident communicator with clients, venues, and technical teams
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Able to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Auckland-based role with a reputable and established audio-visual & production company
- Exposure to a wide variety of corporate and large-scale events
- Supportive, experienced production and technical team
