Senior Project Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Waikato team, leading the delivery of key civil infrastructure projects across the region.

Your Key Impact
You’ll take full ownership of project delivery, from programme and cost through to team performance and client relationships. Your leadership will set the tone. You’ll build high-performing teams, protect margin and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a standard we stand behind.
What you’ll be doing- Leading delivery on key civil infrastructure projects, including major water infrastructure works
- Driving programme performance and protecting the critical path
- Managing project budgets, forecasting and commercial outcomes
- Leading procurement and putting the right teams in place
- Managing contracts proactively, including cash flow, time bars and risk
- Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Mentoring and developing teams
- Ensuring quality is delivered and verified
- Driving a strong safety culture with a focus on lead indicators and risk management
What you’ll bring
Key requirements:
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects at a senior level
- Strong commercial and contractual capability
- Experience managing programme, cost, risk and performance across large projects
- Leadership style that is clear, decisive and accountable
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Relevant qualification (BE Civil or equivalent)
Preferred:
- Strong contract and cost management capability
- Good negotiation and communication skills across different audiences
- Experience delivering large or complex infrastructure projects
