Pharmacy Technician
About the Role Salary: As per MECA, Technical/non-degree scale, depends on experienceThis role is permanent, part-time (24 hours per week) for a Pharmacy Technician. We are open to both trainee and qualified pharmacy technicians (Level 4 or 5).
Your primary role as a pharmacy technician will be to provide dispensing, manufacturing, and repacking services in a hospital environment. There are potential opportunities to participate in ward-based multidisciplinary teams, assisting the pharmacists with medicines reconciliation, assessment of patients' own medicines, and discharge counselling.

The pharmacy team is well respected by clinicians, nursing staff, and senior management across the organisation, and is constantly looking at ways to improve the service and care it delivers. As a pharmacy department, we have a strong clinical presence across all areas of the hospital and linkages into our local community.
