**What the Role Looks Like**
We're on the lookout for *two* experienced **Edible Oil Tanker Operators** to join our highly skilled and dynamic team, operating a modern, well-maintained fleet.
This **Tauranga-based** role involves working six-days of the week, with shifts scheduled on any day depending on customer demand. Flexibility is essential to meet both business and seasonal requirements, and overnight work will be required depending on customer needs.
The ideal candidates will maintain a clean and tidy in-cab environment, demonstrating professionalism at all times.
A strong focus on safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation is crucial, reflecting the high standards our valued customers and suppliers expect.
**Key Responsibilities**:- Understand product density to accurately calculate volume and weight
- Perform thorough truck and tanker inspections
- Complete CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures as required
- Manage inbound deliveries, confirming volumes and transporting 3-4 loads to the Port, daily
- Oversee outbound operations: load oil blends, complete paperwork, collect samples, and offload tankers
- Carry out overnight trips as required
- Strictly follow site PPE and quality compliance standards under MPI regulations
**Work Pattern**
Full-time, *permanent* role with a regular roster:- **Dayshift**
- **Average shift:** 10-12 hours
- **A weekend roster will apply**
- **Class 5 Licence** (or equivalent), and B-Train – minimum 2 years’ experience in both
- Experience carting with HPMV permitting up to 60 tonnes
- Live load experience (Edible Oil) essential
- Road Ranger experience is essential
- F, DG endorsement and OSH Certificate (preferred, but not essential)
- Good geographical knowledge of the North Island
- Day and night shift experience – you’re flexible and reliable
