Delivery Driver C1
The Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Manual Delivery Driver to support our team during the peak summer period. This is a hands-on, physically active role delivering ice across the Whanganui to Wellington region.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver up to 2 tonnes of ice per day, completing around 20 drops
- Drive manual Class 1 trucks safely and efficiently
- Record deliveries and inventory using a phone/tablet system
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Perform repetitive lifting of ice bags safely
- Monday-Sunday roster, 5 days out of 7
- Weekend availability is required
- Hours: 7:00 am - 4:30/5:00 pm (depending on route and delivery volume)
- Start ASAP or immediately after Christmas
- Work with a small, supportive team
- Short-term role with potential to extend for the peak period
- Active, hands-on position in a fast-paced environment
- Class 1 Manual licence essential
- Physically fit and able to lift ice bags repeatedly
- Honest, reliable, and customer-focused
- Strong attention to detail and organised
- Previous delivery experience preferred
