Coachwork Fibreglass manufactures Fibreglass panels and components for Buses and Coaches and for the general transport industry. We require a person who can work to assist our lead laminator in his daily tasks.
If a suitable candidate has skills that may be utilised in other parts of the factory this would be a major advantage to allow flexibility in work flow.
We require a person who has had experience in hand laying fibreglass matting and resin combinations in a variety of mould configurations. Chopper gun experience would be advantages but training can be given in this skill.
Key skills are-- Hand laying experience. (Chopper gun experience would be useful for the future.)
- Ability to accurately measure product ratios and follow standard proceedures.
- Can repair fibreglass panels to a high standard.
- Fill repaired panels with body filler and fair up for paint standard.
- Experience using a spray gun.
- Panel beating and panel filling skills would be an asset for mould manufacture.
- Welding skills would also assist in the mould making process.
Must be able to work in New Zealand.
Must have good comunication skills. ( English)Must have good numeracy and literacy.
Useful skills for position-Spray painting ability.
Mould making.
Pattern making.
Wanganui
but shows a keen disire to upskill would be considered. Appropriate training would be given.
