You will tactically plan interventions such as safe staffing plans, succession plans, safety, and wellbeing initiatives to ensure delivery of the overall Districts strategy.This role requires collaborative work with all other service managers to ensure a cohesive, client centred health care service across the District, working to eliminate health outcomes inequity for Māori, delivering on Health New Zealand Tairāwhitis Tiriti o Waitangi obligationsThe General Manager will meet all delegated KPIs, budgetary parameters while delivering the best possible health outcomes.

You must have the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform and meet targets.Extensive experience in health including at least 10 years in leadership rolesHold a post graduate qualification in leadership/management, with one or more academic degrees in a health related disciplineProven experience successfully leading diverse teams through change and achieving improved resultsExperience in a mental health and addiction setting is desirable.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
