A bit about the role…
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in the Wellington region from start to finish. You’ll play a central role in ensuring our projects are delivered safely on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What you’ll be doing- Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work with various stakeholders internally and externally to:
- Oversee project setup, planning and team coordination.
- Plan and schedule projects using our smart project management tools.
- Visit sites, check progress, and keep quality on point.
- Work closely with our team and clients to keep everyone in the loop.
- Implement and manage project systems and documentation.
- Ensure every project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to an exceptional standard.
- Identify and resolve issues early to keep projects running smoothly.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- 5+ years’ project management experience in managing commercial construction projects.
- A great communicator who’s organised and proactive.
- A practical, hands-on approach and a knack for problem-solving.
- Someone who loves working with people and bringing out the best in their team.
- Positive, approachable, and calm under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, standards and safety regulations.
