- Carrying out welding and fabrication across diverse projects and materials
- Using a range of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and ARC
- Preparing and working with various metal stocks for fabrication
- Performing both light and heavy fabrication work – shaping, bending, and assembly
- Working with structural and non-structural metals including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
- Ability to weld stainless steel to a high standard
- Accurately reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Examining and finishing welds to meet high-quality standards
- Preferably trade-qualified in welding/fabrication
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Strong ability to weld stainless steel (required)
- Able to work efficiently both independently and within a team
- Health and safety focused with a good eye for detail
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence required
- Applicants must have NZ citizenship or residency
- Pre-employment drug testing and a Ministry of Justice background check will be required
