Kirimana Consultants is seeking experienced Aluminium Fabricators/Installers for immediate work across a variety of exciting projects in Wellington.

We are looking to employ several skilled installers to work alongside our experienced trades teams. These roles require reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious individuals. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include:

  • Read drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and installation procedures
  • Select, clean, and prepare aluminium materials for each job, with a sound understanding of different sheet metal types
  • Shape and bend aluminium sections using appropriate tools and machinery
  • Align and join components accurately using the correct mechanical fixings, bolts, and rivets
  • Ensure cost-effective use of materials and follow standard procedures for manufacturing and installation
  • Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
  • Maintain tidy and safe work areas in line with OSH housekeeping standards
  • Carry out other duties as requested by supervisors

You'll be expected to work with precision, communicate clearly with your supervisor, and take ownership of your responsibilities. A commitment to completing work to a high standard within timeframes, and actively contributing to a team environment, is essential.

Minimum Experience Required:

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as an aluminium fabricator or installer or hold a trade qualification or higher. You must be able to provide references to support this experience.

Pay & Conditions:

  • Hourly rate: $25 - $30 (waged)
  • Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours depending on project requirements
  • Work days: Monday to Saturday
  • Locations: Roles available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago and Southland.

For those willing to travel between regions, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.
