This role involves providing high-quality patient care in avariety of clinical settings, including theatre, recovery, and day ward. TheRegistered Nurse will work independently and collaboratively with other healthprofessionals to assess health needs, provide care, and support patients inmanaging their health.This role requires strong nursing judgment, clinicalexpertise, and the ability to coordinate and delegate tasks to Enrolled Nurses,Health Care Assistants, and other team members.

The successful candidate willbe responsible for comprehensive nursing assessments and ensuring best practicestandards are met.Key Responsibilities:Undertakethe role of scrub nurseUndertakethe role of circulating nurseUndertakes role of endoscopy nurseUndertakes role or recovery nurse Patient assessment and the ability to escalateconcerns if parameters outside that of usualCollaborate with the wider team e.g. Surgeons,Anaesthetists, Anaesthetic Technicians, and sterilisation technicians in thedevelopment of continuing patient care plansAbout youEssential Requirements:New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate (with no conditions affecting the ability to fulfil this role).Minimum of two years' post-registration experience.PDRP or willingness to work towards it.Commitment to cultural competency training.Full, clean NZ driver's licence.Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).Ability to work with children.Availability to work on-call as per the roster.Desirable Skills and Experience:Experience in theatre and recovery.Ability to contribute to the development of high-quality patient care.Strong teamwork and leadership skills.Motivation, a positive attitude, and a sense of humour.Clinical competence and strong organisational abilities.Multi-skilled and adaptable.Interest in assisting with the development of the unit.Experience in orthopaedics is an advantage.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated andcompassionate nurse to make a meaningful impact in patient care.
