Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Puautahanui, Wellington

We're looking for a qualified heavy diesel mechanic to join our workshop team. Reporting to our workshop manager, you will be working on a wide range of our fleet, including;

Light Vechicles
Light Trucks
Heavy trucks (both American and Japan)
Morbark chippers - 12" to 36"
Excavators - 1.7ton - 30ton
Stump grinders

Carrying out everything from minor servicing, VCA checks, COF's and repairs, through to full strip-down engine rebuilds. This role also includes visiting sites in the field and performing field service work.

What we are looking for;

Qualified, with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience
A positive, can-do attitude with the willingness to follow instructions
A minimum of a full clean NZ Drivers license (Class 2, 4, 5, is better)
A person who takes pride in their work is self-driven.
