**About the role and who we are looking for:**
We are looking for an enthusiastic **Fixed Term Cook** to work at **Wairarapa Hospital, Masterton**. **This is a part-time job offers 26 Hours a week**
**You will be required to:**- prepare bulk dishes for patient meals
- prepare single special items
- at times assist with ordering / receiving and stock rotation
- comply with Food safety standards
- have the ability to work to time frames
- have a good understanding of food allergens
- assist with general kitchen and cleaning duties.
**Ideal skills and experience you will have:**
If you're our ideal candidate you will be a team player, passionate about food and have excellent time management skills. You will have outstanding customer service and be flexible, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.Having the ability to work proactively both independently and as part of a team is essential. Ideally you will have previous experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.You will be a pro at Health & Safety but, most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
