Neo Design – CAD Detailer (Microvellum & Pricing)

At Neo Design, we’re leading the way in the joinery industry with an innovative, modern approach to kitchens and interiors. We specialize in bespoke designs for a wide range of private clients and design professionals. From concept to completion, we offer a full-service experience backed by a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding results and exceptional service.

With one of our valued CAD team members retiring after 11 years, we’re looking for a new team member to join our business.

The Role:

We’re seeking an experienced CAD Detailer to join our CAD team—someone who can also assist with pricing tasks. Experience with Microvellum software is a strong advantage. If you're skilled in a similar software, we’re happy to provide in-house training.

A background in cabinetmaking would also be beneficial, as it brings valuable insight into manufacturing and installation processes.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in our office / factory in Glenfield, where you’ll work closely with our talented team of Designers, CAD Detailers, and Production Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and designers throughout the detailing process.
  • Work on residential joinery projects from initial drafts through to manufacturing.
  • Assist with pricing using Microvellum’s new features (group training will be provided).
  • Contribute to system improvements and workflow efficiencies where possible.

About You:
  • Experienced: Proven experience as a CAD Detailer with a strong focus on kitchen or interior cabinetry.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Technically Skilled: Proficient in CAD software (Microvellum preferred); a portfolio of past projects is essential.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Strong Communicator: Able to engage confidently with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Knowledgeable: Solid understanding of joinery materials, hardware, dimensions, and specifications.
  • Problem-Solver: Able to identify and resolve drafting or production issues effectively.
  • Cabinetmaking Insight: Familiarity with cabinetry processes is a plus.

What We Offer:
  • A supportive, inclusive team culture.
  • Competitive salary aligned with your skills and experience.
