Certified Load Pilot - C1

Our Auckland Branch is looking for a highly skilled and certified Load Pilot to join our team of transport experts! As a Load Pilot, you'll be responsible for escorting and coordinating the movement of heavy and over-dimensional freight. You'll work closely with our Drivers and Dispatchers to ensure that every load reaches its destination safely, legally and efficiently.
With fifteen depots throughout New Zealand, we have a combined fleet of over 500 truck and trailer units offering a unique and comprehensive nation-wide distribution service. We have a great team of over 400 people who are passionate about delivering exceptional service to our customers.

- Performing route assessments and hazard identification
- Coordinating with drivers and road authorities
- Managing traffic control and ensuring public road safety
- Maintaining clear communication throughout all stages of transport
- Adhering to legal, regulatory, and safety standards
- Load Pilot Certification (Class 1) and full clean driver’s licence
- Proven experience in heavy haulage and over-dimensional load escorting
- Excellent knowledge of transport regulations and permit requirements
- Ability to travel long distances and work flexible hours
- Strong communication, situational awareness, and problem-solving skills
