Our Outpatient Assistants are an integral part of our Healthcare team, working alongside, and under the direct of Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to care for our patients.This role involves the following:Supporting our Nurses and other members of the Healthcare teamPatient supervision and/or movementChaperoning medical staff in clinicsStock reconciliationNote preparation for clinicsCleaning of instruments and scopesCleaning of the departmental roomsPlease note this role involves minimal patient contact.About the Team/Service/LocationHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.

transferring of patients, and you will spend a lot of time on your feet and on the move, therefore a degree of physical fitness is essential.
