We have a very strong focus on health and safety for you, our team and our customers. You will be handling and delivering dangerous goods, so attention to detail and commitment to health and safety is critical.
About the role:
Grant has been a highly valued member of our team, but due to personal reasons he is leaving us in October. So we are in need of one more home LPG delivery driver so we're hiring a Class 2 Driver with a D endorsement.
You will be responsible for filling LPG gas bottles and delivering them to residential, marae and commercial customers. You will also be delivering 9kg LPG swap bottles and bottled industrial, hospitality and medical gas.This role is primarily Monday to Friday, with Saturday during peak times and will start as a casual or permanent part time role, progressing to full time as we continue to grow.
Customer service is part of the job - you might need to answer questions or provide solutions while out delivering. We will provide you with plenty of training and support so you can offer our customers accurate information.
About you:
- At least two years Class 2 driving experience with a clean license
- Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety
- Appreciate that you are delivering an essential service and be committed to on time efficient deliveries, always
- Experience delivering goods would be ideal but is not critical
- Current Dangerous Goods endorsement or be willing to undergo training for one
- Physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy items when making bottle deliveries
- Flexibility and adaptability with a positive customer experience focus
- LPG filling experience would be nice, but we can train you in this so it is not essential
- Experience navigating rural addresses in the Bay of Plenty would be helpful
